我忽然看到有人提到another 和 the other 的区别, 如果我没记错好象两者的用法区别如下

another 是指示代词.可以作置于句首和句尾, 不过有时省略了后面的名词. 如, He finished his sausage and asked for another (one). This machine doesn't work. Another ( machine) will do. 而在确定为两者的情况下,后面的句子必须为the other, 以表示两者之一. 如星期四提出的那个问题,因为前面已经讲了两个人, 所以必须用the other.
