美国往事

昨晚在看《美国往事》(once upon a time in America)时，在忧伤怀旧的音乐里，Noodles回忆年少时期与跳舞小姑娘的交往，小姑娘念了一首诗，这是剧中罕见的细腻处理的情节。

My beloved is white and ruddy,
His skin is as the most fine gold,
His cheeks are as a bed of spices,
Even though he hastn't washed since last December
His eyes are as the eyes of down
His body is as bright ivory,
His leg are as pillars of marble,
In parts so dirty they stand by themselves
He is altogether lovable
But he'll always be a two-bit punk……
So he'll never be my beloved,
what a shame.
