非常遗憾，查了两三种拉丁词典，都没有找到这个词。

这是福斯特《最长的旅程》中的第四章里面有

“mensa or tupto”

mensa我查到是拉丁文的“桌子”，所以推想此词也是拉丁文，但没有查到。

难道？
