楔子中的原文如下：
There,though Elrond had departed,his sons long remained,together with some of the High-elven folk.It is said that Celeborn went to dwell there agter the departure of Galadriel;but there is no record of the day when at last he sought the Grey Havens,and with him went the last living memory of the Elder Days in Middle-earth.
哦，原来depart和departure就是故世啊…………ft，他当是我们平时所说的谁家谁家老人“走了”吗……
这样的错误，书中不只一处哦。在附录二中：重大年份——3019 3月的那一段也写着“但在盖拉德丽尔故世后几年，赛利博斯厌倦了他的这片领地……”
原文是：
But after the passing of Galadriel in a few years Celeborn grew weary of his realm and went to Imladris to dwell with the sons of Elrond.
可怜的精灵啊，不朽的生命就这样断送了-_-~~
而且就在几页前（p436）还写着“吉穆利去西方的另一个原因是为了再见到美丽的盖拉德丽尔夫人”……我无话可说
